just seems like gold keeps going down and so does alta.... but take a look at some others in the industry. they are down much more. for example check bgo which used to be more than double alta. it is now around the same price. also tvx and eco. 18 months ago these 2 were over 10 and are now down to around 3. and all have been making new lows much more often than alta. alta has been holding far better than the "rest" and i believe they will continue to do so. good management and profitable even in this terrible gold market. alta cost per ounce of under 200 (170ish) will keep them profitable for a while. will be slower going for them since they do not have a lot of cash to start new projects but makes them a good takeover target for some of the larger companies in my opinion. i hope that doesn't happen since we as shareholders would never see the true worth of alta. if the gold market recovers, alta will be there leading the pack.
anyway, i continue to hold from 4. ouch, but i still feel long term this one will go up big.
good luck and sorry for the length.

Dave--I don't think the worst is over for gold. It will probably take the closing of mines until demand increases--if ever.
