Trader D. Comments like yours have been voiced before. Remember, you gotta guy by the name of Ray Lane running the ORCL ship. Ray acts as a filter & soundboard for Larry's ideas before they are implemented at a significant level that could seriously affect the bottom line. Ray & Larry make a good team, & have served shareholders well over the past 10 years. I really don't think this is about to change. I would also think you're astute enough to not take everything Larry says at face value. He's a shrewd guy. Any statement released to the press has a purpose -- for its effect, not necessarily for its substance.
