I think most of those 41% will vote for Obama again, if they vote. My guess is that many of the men who pulled the lever for the O are dedicated democrat/liberal voters. Not all, certainly, but most of those. Add to that cognitive dissonance--people don't want to admit, or cannot see, that they voted poorly. The result: O will be hurt by lazy turn out. The big swing happened in women, minorities, and the youth turn out. That's where I think a big demoralizing factor hurts turn out in the next election. They won't say they were wrong, but just won't vote again. My daughter who voted for O said that she's not going to vote for awhile until she understands it all better. She's been let down hard. She's a chem E senior (4.0) so probably learns a little faster than the average lemming. What are your thoughts?
