I suspect the work load for your application in the UAE was zip. Don't have that many of your kind. So you lucked out. Kumar's case is the kind they love to take forever on and reject for any minor glitch.

Elroy, I would suggest your wife is exceptionally lucky for 2 reasons :

- USCIS in UAE probably has minimal workload.
- Your wife did not have to go thru the rigmarole of Naturalizaton-she was married to a US citizen.
