But since GM isn't allowed to fail, the Volt is now fair game for partisan politics.

You talk about GM failing as if it was an abstract event and people's lives didn't depend on it. I find that level of disconnection distasteful frankly.

And as it stands right now, the Volt isn't even close to being viable, except as an "eco status symbol." $40K sticker price (minus a taxpayer-funded $7500 "credit") is insane. And it's doubtful that GM is even making a profit per sale.

That's not news ten...it's a first generation product. It took Toyota many years to make a profit on the Prius.

First impressions are key, as any marketeeer knows.

Which is why GM is being so careful. What's so not credible about that? I don't know the inside scoop AND I hope things are going well for the sake of GM and its employees...wingers are actually hoping for failure...i get the feeling you are among them...How shitty is that?

That's where your defense of GM's bailout falls apart and you have to resort to ad hominem attacks, straw men, and other ways to get the opposition to shut up. Not that you claim to be able to, but your motives are clear:

The ancient post you dug up had nothing to do with GM...post something relevant...
