I'm kinda happy we're flying those damn planes into the ground! My taxes PAID for them, and I want them to be USED COMPLETELY!
Besides, the pilots bail out and are rescued.

Anyway, the NEWER planes cost a friggin' FORTUNE! They keep designing planes to defeat projected Soviet fighters that are no longer being made - so they IMAGINE them!
