I decided a while back to deal with street people on their own level so this response to you is not in any way an insincere play for false support. (Christ, help me!) But I must acknowledge a deep respect for your response. He was trying to turn you into a worm and you proved your impartial rationality was NOT based on a lack of self esteem or an irrational fear. I truly respect that. I wish at times that I could take your positional tact which always allows you to simply walk away if need be. Unfortunately, I took on a major undertaking and feel a duty to carry it through even though I must drop myself to terrible levels. I think you know what I mean. I think many people know what I mean. In normal life I don't even swear. But the idea that loud, irrational, and superstitious people who put NO moral parameters on their behavior can safely be ignored has (I think) been thoroughly dissolved. After we are gone...our families must yet continue. Sometimes walking away from lies is the same as lying. So that is my motive, so you know...

You can take it any way you want Jacques. I was just saying that your response looked like you were jumping into and taking sides in a situation that you didn't know the full story on and that it appeared to me that you were willing to split hairs at my expense. Did I take that a little personally? Yes I did and yes I do. If there were no context and no history of Solon using homosexual slurs, threats to force me to my knees and make me "swallow" etc etc etc etc..... then you might have a point. AS it is Solon has just admitted that there is no tactic too low for him to use as long as it's for the team.
