Its always darkest before the dawn.

And who are you going to believe.......some guy named Tyler Turkey or Tim Geithner or Jim Cramer. I have no love for Cramer but he has a good record for predicting turns in multiple markets. And Geithner is not a stupid man.

Grim, let me also add......whether new housing sales are up or down does not mean diddly in terms of a housing bottom. In fact, this country doesn't need new construction right now...........we have tons of foreclosures coming through the pipeline that will more than satisfy current demand. In fact, the bottom will be formed when the housing pipeline is in line with rising demand which is what I expect will happen this year.
