Good stuff. I've read them. When I saw Eckhart I immediately thought of the new one (Tolle!) who has become so known in recent years. I don't necessarily agree with the philosophy that seems to ground him (in fact, I do not) but I do agree with the wonderful principles it guides him (and many others) to follow. He got his awakening in a washroom. Perfect!

Age is a terrible thing in some ways. I used to often read a book in a day and now one a week is nothing to be embarrassed over. Clearly we can never catch up so it is important we read what is "worthy". Just finished the travels of Baron Munchhausen which I've owned for years but kept putting down for years because it was not at all Trollope or Swift! But I finally got "into" it and I am glad I did!

I don't get too involved in the metaphysical books anymore because I know where I WASN'T 100 years ago and there is (therefore) a time to start focusing on what is important! But I do like to keep in touch with the nonce, so thank you for that!
