Except for the found God part, that would make him like several of the liberals here.

This, of course, is nonsense.

During the year ended 12/31/2006, George W. Bush -- WHILE CARRYING OUT HIS RESPONSIBILITIES AS PRESIDIENT -- is documented to have read 95 books. One every ~4 days. I read a lot, but cannot hold down a job and keep that pace.

To suggest he "never found books" is an outright lie.

Koan, > Bush is willfully ignorant. He was a playboy for 20 years. Booze and cocain and then he found god.

That's nice, but the topic was Obama.

If you want to defend a "make it up as you go" doctrine, be my guest. Eventually you'll have to stand up for something.

By the way, I too respect intelligent, well-read people. What I don't respect are those who claim that they are but never demonstrate it.
