"He had the resolve of a true leader in the months following 9/11."

Boy, you are STILL deluded! Bush immediately began co-opting 9/11 for his pre-planned agenda, which was to invade Iraq. Bush and his team of lying salespeople had more than half the people in the country believing Saddam was BEHIND 9/11 and in league with bin Laden.

I'm sure Bush was THANKFUL that 9/11 made his invasion of Iraq so much EASIER than it would have been without it. But, the truth will OUT, and we KNOW NOW that there was NO REASON for the US to invade Iraq. Saddam hadn't attacked us, was NO threat to us, yet we ended up spending a trillion dollars to gain NOTHING.

I'm sure Gore, who probably would have PREVENTED 9/11, would have handled it much better, and bin Laden would be dead or in prison today, since that would have been our TOTAL effort.
