Interesting, never heard about that comet until you posted about it. So I did some searching and found an interesting write up: NASA's buzz about comet Elenin earthpulsedaily.net

This is very interesting and a very good prediction of earthquake activity just days before Japan's massive quake. MARCH 11-23 EVENT?! Signs and Evidence Uploaded March 8 2011 youtube.com Comet Elenin, Earth, and the Sun were in exact alignment last year on February 27th. That is when the Chile Earthquake happened, and Earth's axis shifted. This year, the same alignment happens March 11-15, and the comet is much closer. PLEASE move away from fault areas during this time!
