Raymond- You really don't believe cdma capacity is significantly greater? oh my. The more people that understand the advantages of IS-95 the more they will invest in companies that use it. The cdma snowball is getting bigger, believe it.

I'm not sure why ericy is tanking, but also suspect that people are overly concerned about overseas markets. You can bet that they still will be installing telephone service though.

On a last note, read my preivious post, aren't there obvious messages to investors there?

Here is an article about Ericsson in Red Herring.Ericsson is mentioned
as one of the new communications companys. It looks like it is not only Ericsson that believes in a "flat world.More or less all the major telecom papers seems to believe in the same pancake. Before it was Wall Street that didn't understand the greatness of the new "Microsoft"
Qualcomm. Now it seems that it is more or less everybody in the business. But it is good that we have the QCOM thread so we can get the only real truth and can ignore the information we get in different
articles.

Here is some news about the 3G systems debate in Europe. It looks
like a lot of operators are supporting Ericssons WCDMA proposal.
I haven't seen any operators that has come out and said that they
support the Siemens TDMA/CDMA solution.Has anyone else seen or heard
anything??
The only support I have seen for the Siemens proposal comes from supplyers. It's a little bit pathetic that all the companys that says that CDMA is superior like Motorola Nortel and Sony(Qualcomms partner) is supporting the hybrid solution from Siemens and not a clean CDMA solution. They are obviosly just trying to slow down Ericsson and Nokia.
