Then it would not be centre left ... it would be left.. looks to me like current Libs are more left than say the Chretien/Martin Liberals were..

i read somewhere today :o)

and now a canadian is leading so we can get chit on our hands if it goes badly

Funny the Conservatives running on their stewardship of economy... as if they had anything to do with the rise of China.. and our subsequent good fortune.. (Flats independent thought was killing income trusts) In the early days of his admin Harper could do nothing but insult them.. What part of the economy did they not inherit from Martin ( M was a tad hypocritical for my taste but a smart guy at least) Conservatives just got lucky... Chretien did Canada a true disservice screwing around with Martin.. Ah.. Now wrt Martin I'm humming an old Joany tune.. ' Don't it always seem to go.. :o)

Was thinking even more about the centre left thing...

Seems fiscally the Cons are constrained almost to red Tory status by the minority situation... and maybe I am wrong on the Libs being so left (ex financial issues, Iggy influence ??).. Was there a lot of hoopla about going to Libya ? Harper acting more like Commander in Chief ( and still NO frigging sovereignty protecting armed icebreakers :O( yet new fighter jets.. ? a new manifestation of Canadian (lap dog) foreign policy... (goes to the Blair comp again)...

Oh crap I'm gonna have to vote after all... Not gonna happen this go but might be nice to see the New Conservatives tuned up like the old Conservatives ... I love the smell of devastated politicians in the morning....
