The real problem with healthcare is Govt. intervention into private enterprise thinking they know better. In a normal unregulated technology business, prices go down and demand increases. In healthcare prices go up and demand increases. That is because of Medicaid and Medicare. You see the same effect in the cost of College Education. Govt gives out Student Loan money and Grants increasing demand and the schools simply raise prices and pay their professors, Deans and Presidents more money. If you want affordable healthcare, stop giving it away for free through Govt handouts. Even Medicare is a handout because you can't expect to get a 20,000% return on a 1.4% payroll deduction. If you want a car, you save up and buy it. You don't go out and get a Government backed loan to buy a car! If the Govt got into that business, auto prices would triple at least!
