That's right. If bush were prez, we'd have boots on the ground by now in Libya and the entire population would be against us. Now that would have been a fun fight.......not this wimpy stuff that Obama is pulling. Obama is right for not putting American boots on Libya's soil. But he needs a cowboy's attitude to deal with Congress. After all he is the leader of the country! I want to agree with you.....it would be my style to deal with Congress that way. However, given the polarization in this country, I am afraid it might backfire badly. Someone has to be more even keeled......and maybe that role is best suited for the president.
