<Oil Will Be Gone in 50 Years>

Oil at $20 or $40 is gone.

Oil at $60 is probably gone forever, unless we get another global recession. And even then, prices that low will be temporary.

Oil at $100-115 is abundantly available today.

Oil will be abundant 10 years from now.....for $150/b....or higher...

Oil will be abundant in 50 years....made from algae or cellulose or some technology unknown today...and the price could be $10/b, or $100.

Saying "oil will be gone" is a statement without content, unless price is specified.

The headline is clearly intended to shock the reader rather than to illuminate something of consequence to investors.
