The LNG build out is a good example. So is drilling into the source rock and fracturing the rock to get the heavier end. Both are examples of technology trumping expected decline. Both are also examples of planning for a future that will resemble current trends. Risky to depend either. My solution has been to hedge my bets knowing I am not smart enough to predict anything past the current cycle. That and a healthy serving of luck. And yes I do consider myself young. Just have to talk to my dad for a while to know that is true still. Jim
