You don't think we should give them arms to get rid of Qadaffi?

Not until we know who they are....

Should we get rid of Qadaffi?

There is no vital national interest in Libya. We should promote regime change....but Obama says that's not what this is about. Don't you listen to that moron?

You want him to stay in power?

Nope. But let's not remove him at the cost of a worse alternative.....

I think we should be wary of arming forces we don't know much about. Some of these guys might turn them against our own people.

Should we get rid of Qadaffi?

We shouldn't have gotten involved.

Since Obama did though, I reluctantly think we have to force him out of power. Because if he stays in power now, he'll strike back at us. Obama is making a mistake to hedge and say he wants him to leave but won't force him out. If the President of the US (even Obama) flat out stated we WILL see him gone, he might be able to buffalo him into fleeing the country.

You want him to stay in power?

I've made myself clear on that. Daffy's a murderous bastard, but its only Obama's intervention that made him a new threat to us. So the answer is a reluctant no.

Obama doesn't so you have no choice...

Obama doesn't want him to stay but he's not saying he'll get rid of him either. On balance, Daffy is being encouraged by Obama to stay in Libya and be defiant.

See the Newsbusters / NBC thing I posted ...... reporters in Tripoli are saying the regime people are feeling better after Obama's speech.
