A googol is the large number 10^100, that is, the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros:

A number that intrigues me is a googolplex: a 1 followed by a googol of zeros (10^10^100). It is a number so large that one cannot write it down (as you did a googol) in one's lifetime.
