jon, who could argue with the position you put forward. couldn't agree more. although a bottom-up investor, i would never commit without seeing as many barcharts as possible back as far as 5 years. kind of a soft technical viewpoint. also one has to know what a significant group of traders are using. their bias will have some influence, even if momentarily. in the last analysis if it doesn't feel right in one's gut then pass. no amount of research can make a good decision and one you can live with, whatever the outcome. there are many out here who don't have your very sane and balanced outlook. for them it is either/or.
