I would like to see the Tea Party establish a conservative review panel to hold public interviews with each respective Republican candidate to weed out the mealy-mouthed moderates who are habitually non-committal on major issues, soft-spoken on key social problems, and otherwise hesitant to take a position on primary conservative principles.

No easy questions for the candidates, either! Only hard-nosed, specific inquiries!

I want to see cutting-edge questions such as:

If you were elected president, what specific actions would you take to...

1. ...find and remove all illegal aliens and their anchor babies from the United States?

2. ...repeal all affirmative action laws, EEO laws, civil rights laws, equal housing laws, and all other laws and policies based on skin color, ethnicity, religion, etc.?

3. ...permanently ban same-sex marriage?

4. ...find and imprison anyone with ties to Islamic terrorist cells in the United States?

5. ...repeal ObamaCare in its entirety?

6. ...mandate strict term-limits for Congress?

7. ...forbid all elected Federal officials from ever accepting employment, money, gifts, favors, or contracts, for themselves or on behalf of their families, from the commercial or private sector while holding office and after leaving office?

8. ...forbid political parties and candidates from accepting campaign contributions from corporations and individuals who donate to more than one politicial party.

9. ...build more jails, prisons, and executions centers and ensure that they are properly staffed and utilized?

10. ...reverse the unfavorable demographic trends in the United States?

11. ...eliminate the federal income tax and replace it with a single consumption tax that excludes food, energy, real estate, and capital gains?

12. ...implement a tax for voter registration, say, 100 dollars, with the proceeds going toward funding all federal elections, including verifying voter identities and eligibilities?

13. ...outlaw the practice gerrymandering and gerrymandered districts?

14. ...advance and strengthen conservative principles, family values, and a conservative way of life in the United States?

The answers provided by each prospective presidential candidate would be judged by a large constituency of Tea Party conservatives.

Note: This post is becoming a little long, so I will follow up with a subsequent post that looks at how a series of hypothetical responses to one of the questions might be judged and graded.
