divergences showing up ... oscillator has flipped negative. But I expected some down starting today or tomorrow at the latest. OTOH -- perhaps we get a good pumping before the report tomorrow.

Quarterly SPX & ES options expire tomorrow. I noticed high volume today on the ES 1330 & 1335 calls, so the MMs might be using this opportunity to write calls with only 1 day to expiration & it could coincide with your VPs at those levels. I would not be surprised to see a 1 or 2 day small pullback before the advance continues.
