Dear Jan: I would think that only salaries of Officers, accountants, secretaries and other office workers would be charged to G & A expense. Engineers would presumably be charged to cost of goods sold and salespeople to selling expense. Had they set up a separate line item for development expense a case could be made for allocating a portion of anyones salary involved in that effort to that catagory dependent upon their percentage of involvement. JDN
