That isn't relevant to the discussion we were having. The fact that they are mostly not Republicans doesn't imply that they would mostly lie about the changes in water quality.

Turning to the new topic. My first thought is "so what"? I'm hardly surprise that scientists' don't have the same political leanings as the population in general. All sorts of groups have political biases. My 2nd though is to wonder if those leanings distort the science. I'm sure they sometimes do, but no so much as to make what scientists are doing today no longer useful.
