Apple won't be releasing blow-by-blow figures. They'd be stupid to do so. I do imagine the usual moles will be ferreting out sales numbers, though they might be wildly off base.

Dell was doing a million a day on their site in 1996. By the middle of this year it had doubled to two million. Now they claim to be doing three million some days. (Note that even three million a day would be a small portion of Apple's revenue.)

If anybody knows the standard Gateway figure for internet sales, I'd love to hear it. I think Apple could do a million a day in 1998, which in no way supplants their reseller base. In fact, it sounds like Apple wants to reach out to the resellers by using the Apple Store as an extranet for better communication and build-to-order.
