Even all those people who thought it was a smart idea to sell long dated USTs for short dated ones were looking elsewhere or daydreaming.....as the day of reckoning may be closer than they all assumed? I do suspect any opening of the kimono/Emperor wearing no clothes will inevitably negatively affect all equity markets, including US, China, other EMs, Europe, etc on a scale never before imagined. Finance textbooks on risk free return assumptions are finally going to have to be rewritten....
