All silver coinage minted 1964 and earlier contain mostly silver (junk silver).

Silver coins come in all conditions of wear and tear. Those that have been in circulation for some time are classified as junk.

Those that show little wear begin to fall into the collectable category.

Silver was selling for 5 bucks an ounce at the time, but I don't think these coins are worth more than one dollar each right now... they're just old coins, but they are silver dollars...
