For this their demonized? A number of minor oil spills (nothing like Deepwater Horizon, and almost certainly nothing deliberate, not arguement at the link let alone actual evidence of reckless disregard for safety) Funding right to work campaigns and opposing public sector unions. Oh the horror... Supporting a few immigration bills you don't like. I might find some of them questionable myself, but they are hardly enough to deserve the type of negative reaction the left has to the Koch's. Then finally supporting groups that support liberty. That's a reason to like the Koch's not hate them. And the characterization of them as "think tanks that support continued foreclosures on working people's homes", is rather silly. They are hardly focused on foreclosures. To the extent that they support the ability of banks to foreclose on houses where the homeowner can't pay the mortgage, well in many cases such foreclosures are an important part of making the mortgage and housing markets functional again. Also supporting the rights of banks to enforce contracts that the borrowers agreed to in order to get a lot of money thrown their way, is hardly immoral.
