Well that's not true. The difference is that Microsoft never pretended to be open. The long and the short of it is that Gingerbread is open, Honeycomb is not. Who knows what the future of Android will bring. If I'm a trusted partner of Google's, these developments don't bother me. By going with Android in the first place, I had already gambled my future on the kindness of strangers.
