I believe in reality. no Buddy, you believe in the myth that government has a place (however small) in the market place. --- Interstate Highway system. Panama Canal. Trans-continental railroad. Moon missions... (Hell, first satellites, too.) Manhattan Project. all of those except the manhattan project could have been done privately. yes, even going to the moon if it was something the market wanted. we can never know what could have been done privately with the tax money that was spent going to the moon. we would probably have had a persistent presence in space right now if we wouldn't have strayed into socialism. we would have been so much wealthier by now if we had stayed true to free market capitalism.
