"You said: "Despondent people commit suicide" Wrong....People who commit suicide may be despondent, there are other people who commit suicide, eg suicide bombers and heroes, neither of which are despondent."

Knowledge base:

*In 2010 there were 34,598 deaths by suicide in the USA among 666,000 self-inflicted injuries.

*There were 0 suicide deaths attributed to suicide bombers in the USA.

*There were 0 suicide deaths attributed to suicide heroics in the USA.

'Suicide Bomber' has become a pop term which really represents just one way an assailant can attack their enemies knowing they will not get out of it alive. It is a combative action no less than other forms of leathal attack except it is one in which the term suicide is a misnomer with regards to the context usually reserved for the term suicide... Same with heroic death.

Even if you insist upon inserting those terms out of context, they are rare enough to be considered anomalies when considering the general context and cause of suicide.
