Pete, OT* I had a cousin serving on a Gulf Carrier in the 80's He is still in Rehab He claims it was non stop action! None of which had anything to do with war :) They loved P. Gulf service- those helicopters can transport all the supplies the doctor ordered, including those w/ 2 legs -4 legs available for those T. McVeigh Types in service. HoHoHo He went in because his dad (my uncle) was a pentagon prick. Wouldn't you know it, he has met the love of his life in the Washington M. Vet Hospital. They don't call those ships Destroyers for nothing :)
