OEMs took Google's word on what constituted an "open" Android operating system. Now Google is changing the rules. All Android fanboys beat their chests on how great open Android was. Turns out not to be true, but then again it never was true. Contrary to what you said Google has private APIs. I don't care about open or closed. That's the company choice and business model to succeed or fail with. I do care about dishonesty and to me Google is one dishonest company that's not to be trusted.
