There are so many disturbing aspects to this story. First of all, Muslims have desecrated and burned the American flag, the Holy Bible, and U.S. presidents in effigy since the days of Jimmy Carter and perhaps before. We have all witnessed these actions as they happened routinely across the Arab world for decades and often shown by the mass media. The politically-correct Left in the United States has always insisted that Americans tolerate the provocations and accept Muslims as they are and to embrace the "diverse strengths" of their "different ways and beliefs". Now that a single Christian minister and his congregation in Florida have exercised their constitutional right to free speech by burning a Koran, how does the Left respond? Does the politically-correct Left encourage the world to tolerate the action and accept the Christian minister and his congregation as they are? Are Muslims implored to embrace the "diverse strengths" of the "different ways" of Pastor Jones and his Church? Hell no! Instead, Jones is ridiculed and blamed for the actions of the Muslims in Afghanistan who predictably went nuts and savagely murdered a large number of U.N. westerners who had absolutely nothing to do with the Koran burning in Florida. Is it any surprise that the Left and the media are blaming Jones for the mass murders rather than the Muslim radicals who committed the heinous acts?
