"So I am done talking nice to you all and explaining where you are fucking up."

And we are all to assume that you know what the hell you are talking about. That you ever know what you are talking about. I don't think so, Moonbeam.

Their lies have been pointed out ad nauseum for ten years by me and others.

1 - No they haven't. You almost never even show anyone to be wrong, let alone actually back up the idea that they are lying (which is much more difficult to do). You usually just shout "liar" at anything/one you dislike without demonstrating that there where actually any lies.

2 - And even had you done so about some other group of conservatives, or libertarians, that wouldn't prove anything about the particular organization in question. If conservative organization X is full of liars, that doesn't suggest conservative organization Y would as well.

3 - Even if you had shown that the organization was totally full of liars, it wouldn't change the fact that the specific claim - "In 2008, the top 1 percent of tax returns paid 38.0 percent of all federal individual income taxes and earned 20.0 percent of adjusted gross income, compared to 2007 when those figures were 40.4 percent and 22.8 percent, respectively. " is correct.

U.S. Department of Justice Launches Formal Civil-Rights Investigation into Seattle Police Department's "Patterns" and "Practices"

What started as a preliminary review into the Seattle Police Department's use of force and possible racial-profiling techniques has now escalated into a full-on civil-rights investigation. Jenny Durkan, the U.S. Department of Justice attorney in charge of the initial investigation, announced the next phase of the inquiry today, amid a collective shaking of feet in boots by SPD brass.
Speaking with reporters, Durkan somewhat downplayed the investigation, calling it "a great opportunity to have experts with a new set of eyes" come in and look at the the department.

Officially, they'll be looking at "patterns" and "practices" within the department that put it at odds with laws against racism and improper uses of force.

The investigators will have plenty to look at, including Shandy Cobane, the SPD officer videotaped stomping the head of a prone Latino suspect after telling him he'd "beat the fucking Mexican piss" out of him.

There's also James Lee, the undercover officer who karate-kicked an unarmed and compliant black teen in a convenience store, then went on to punch two other dudes on the street.

Reaching back further, there's Ian Walsh, the SPD cop who punched a jaywalking black teenage girl in the face after her friend tried to intervene.

And of course there's Ian Birk, the since-resigned officer who shot Native American woodcarver John T. Williams, essentially because he looked at him meanly with a carving knife.

Whether all that amounts to legally finding a pattern of civil-rights abuses still remains to be seen. But considering that the DOJ could have dropped the investigation rather than escalated it, one has to bet that they'll be handing down some righteous judgments by the time this is all over.

NATO Forces Kill 12 Rebels In Libya After Rebel Convoy Fired on Plane (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, April 2, 2011, 10:05 AM

Here’s the latest on Obama’s kinetic military operation…

Ten rebels were killed in NATO strike as Gaddafi vowed to fight on.

The rebel convoy reportedly fired on the NATO planes.

The BBC reported:

At least 12 people are reported to have been killed when a coalition plane enforcing the no-fly zone fired on a rebel convoy between Brega and Ajdabiya late on Friday night.

Doctors at a hospital in Ajdabiya told the BBC that three medical students were among the dead.

Nato said it was looking into the incident, adding that it takes reports of civilian casualties very seriously.

The attack came after rebels reportedly fired an anti-aircraft gun.

Meanwhile, Libya’s government rejected a rebel ceasefire offer. Spokesman Moussa Ibrahim dismissed the idea as “mad”.
