Lindy, In the papers today I have found clear evidence supporting my basic theme that the American left is absolutely at war with the American economy. On one hand the left screams about how much they care about the welfare of the down trodden and on the other had they actively and deliberately work to ruin the economy of the US and in fact - the world. The American left is dominated by the loony left. While I maintain hope that there will emerge a rational left that does not want to bankrupt America - I see no sign of it. Here are two examples: 1. Los Angles Times (today in Cleveland Plain Dealer): OP-ED Unsafe at any reactor latimes.com U.S. nuclear plants are storing increasing amounts of highly radioactive spent fuel in pools that are vulnerable to accident or attack. New safety policies are needed.................... I could go on and on. Bad policy leads to bad results. We have a sick slow growing economy that demands more and more debt to keep afloat. As it all goes to hell - the only thing Obama can do is to blame Bush. I suggest he look in a mirror. Bob
