You make good points. I think we would have been totally unconcerned about Libya if the place did not fall into chaos.

Further to your point - by prolonging the war the damage to infrastructure would seem to increase.

I am open to your interpretation.

An alternate interpretation could be that intervention would have quickly ended the problem and most quickly restored oil flow.

Yes, but still if it would be all about oil the logical thing would be to help Qaddafi.

Could you support this country actually helping him suppress the revolution? Yikes. What would this say to the rest of the world?
