why do lefties always call themselves non partisan or centrists.

like the crowd on VFC they all think they are centrists but they are mostly hard core extreme lefties with a few just being extreme hard core lefties

I'm non-partisan because on some issues I agree with the right's point of view and on others I agree with the left's.

I'm not idealogically driven (political idealogies) and try to let facts lead me to a personal viewpoint. I avoid reading editorials and look instead to data.

As a result, I end up all over the map which is why I lay claim to being non-partisan. None of this means that I always end up right as far as my views of things go, it just means that I arrive at those views independently--or at least try to. It's not always easy to gather an accurate set of 'facts'. Everything seems to have a slant to it.

She voted for Obama and generally defends Obama.

In my opinion, few Obama voters looked at the facts before selecting him unless they were hard core Left and very much in favor of changing this country into a European socialist state.

Consequently, her efforts to justify Libya when Obama has miserably failed to do so in a satisfactory way tells me that "Non-partisan" is hardly an adequate description. :-)
