O 49er, read your post re: EMU versus $ and AU with lots of interest.

And in fact ECU does appear to be about all that's holding up against the dollar.

But do you still believe they'll pull off the ECU? Not to mention "AMU" afterwards? I see all this as extremely difficult given current circumstances. Capital flow has a life of its own right now. And tinkering with it may lead to undesirable exaggerations.
