“Secular” my ass!

Why are you posting to me and making vulgar comments to boot?
I never said I'm predicting a secular government in Egypt. I've been clear in saying I expect a battle between secular and religious forces. My guess is a hybridization will emerge and sharia will be incorporated.

Quit posting to me. You just want to argue based on your assumptions and without reading my posts. I don't even think you read this post of yours, as it wasn't really making the case for the kind of religious extremist government you are convinced will happen. So, again, quit posting to me and wasting my time. I won't respond.

I know this is unpopular to say, but here goes - why do we give a rat's ass about Egypt (now that this is a fact on the ground)?

Iran, Libya once upon a time, Venezuela and others are completely dysfunctional, but wreak havoc on their regions and the world because they can be sustained on oil.

Egypt has no oil - let them go to the stone age if they so choose - but they will be choosing starvation.

The universe has a way of being self correcting at times.
