True, the four forces of the apocalypse require material objects to manifest themselves in reality and for people to manipulate them to our ends, creating our own realities. <Most investments at the end of the day involve some sort of material. Cyberspace itself needs fibre, semiconductors, etc., to power it. >

But the most valuable component is the aethereal abstract component, not the enabling objects. A musical instrument is a cheap object, but the music enabled by a small collection of such objects can be worth $billions. Paintings are just canvas, pigments and some oil, with the components worth a few dollars, but bids for paintings can reach $millions.
