It makes Palestinian claims to anything inside Israel illegitimate in the eyes of the "international community"

I used to believe this until Israel left Gaza several years ago. There's not a single Israeli soldier in Gaza, but we still here nothing but "Israeli occupation" and "collective punishment" while Hamas rains rockets on Israel.

I'm convinced nothing will legitimize Israel in the eyes of the "international community."

And it gets rid of the need for Arab refugee camps in Syria and Lebanon

Palestinian negotiators have repeatedly insisted on a "right of return", not to a Palestinian political entity but to Israel. All the better to destroy Israel by demographics.

Elroy, the 1967 borders will include most of Jerusalem, so that is "much of present Israel" right there. Besides the Settlements.
