I remain convinced that the large short position in the company, if it still exists, is fully covered either through Option Calls on Cymer stock which they can exercise or some other means. If you were shorting this stock wouldn't you have purchased calls when things looked bleak?

I'm going to keep my Cymer shares in Astro's doghouse. Trust me, no short trader will be able to get at them, even if they find the doghouse.

Curlton, not all options strategies are equal. Wrting covered options on stock you own and intend to own for the long term is an extremely wise and conservative strategy, particulalrly when the writing is done on rallies and out of the money. Lokk he got a buck each for 5 weeks and the stock is at about 21, even if it s called away, he is going to make $5/share on $21 this is a fantastic return in 5 weeks. If it is not called away, he lowered his cosst and if he thinks there are still dangerous waters ahead he can repeat this on the next mini rally.

Hi Curlton- TO ANYBODY THAT MIGHT KNOW SOMETHING-

Curly- a couple of days ago you were kind enought to post some article that mentioned the use of lasers in the production of LCD monitors. I came across this article and am posting this question to the tech types, "do CYMI's lasers figure into any increase in the production of LCD monitors???" Thanks, just curious if this is a possible additional source of future sales. -Neal
