I happen to agree with you Bob. I'll just sit back and see who wants to play follow the leader. Hoping of coarse it's something I still own. Banks & Investment bankers might not be willing to lend to Mom & Pop. However for big companies like TI their mouths water. M&A lending has scale and is very profitable. Most all companies affected, along with analysts, and investors in the sector will be re-thinking their strategy from this day forward.

BTW-FWIW- In a global economy. I've thought the word Texas in Texas Instruments doesn't represent the company on a global scale. However,TI is just a to well known historical icon brand name to change. IMO-The National Semiconductor name will go the way of American Motors.<g>
