Jeff, in re satellites vs. U2, I read a story where they said something to the effect of satellites not having some extra detection equipment that a U2 has. Also they said the satellites only cover the area at certain times, whereas the U2's can fly up whenever they suspect some changes may be taking place. I agree with your comments though. BTW, I think it looks inevitable that we will have to take some kind of military action. I'm guessing there are some targets already picked out. A few Tomahawk flights and I think Saddam will be able to swallow his pride. Meanwhile, he's looking like a brave hero to the Iraqi people, or so it seems. National unity is a powerful force, and even though I'm sure Saddam is secretly despised by lots of Iraqi citizens, they don't have a lot of choice in the matter of who is their president. So they look for the silver lining, which currently is that he dares to face off with the rest of the world. Probably makes the Iraqi people immensely proud. -G-
