They are anti science because it hurts their pocketbooks. Its all about money with these guys. For some, sure...they are the manipulators...but you live among them as i do, they are manipulated and fall victims of their own cynicism...their sources of "entertainment" peddle negative cynical messages ALL DAY LONG. But that's just it, Al, I don't live among them. I live in a place where most of the people are progressives. Where we get new refugees from TX and the South every day. We have a budget problem.......do you hear a lot of noise about it? No, you don't. That's because the Dem governor and the dems in the state legislature are going about finding ways to make cuts without a lot of turmoil. Its painful but so far they have been successful in minimizing that pain. Hopefully soon, the economy will start picking up some of the slack. All I have to do is contrast what's happening here and what's happening in WI to know which I prefer. All I have to do is contrast the presidency of Obama's with that of Bush's to know what is the better one for this country. There is no contest. I refuse to go down with these people.
