EKS, Samson has a new presentation out, and I notice they summarize activities of some Niobrara e&p land holders. SSN mentions two I don't own or have on my watch list, PDC and CNOOC. I'll add them to my list.

Re: Rex Energy Corporation (REXX)
I am holding off buying shares for now but continue to research other companies that hold Niobrara acreage.

Not all Niobrara acreage is equal even in the DJ Basin.

Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN) has a new presentation out, and on pages 11-13 they summarize activities of some Niobrara e&p land holders. What popped out to me was REX Energy's low production figures (page 13) Apparently their wells are duds and not economical at current flow rates. This includes their 3 test wells to date.

Confirmed REX Energy Niobrara acreage is a dud.

Rex Energy falls as Niobrara well comes up dry
