*OFF TOPIC* Rosemary - I thought I'd persue you you since you've long since run off from CHPS and SFY (and probably did the right thing !).
Since you've obviously made at least a partial move to the larger caps, you may want to check out SUNW. Recently beaten down and possibly offering some interesting opportunities. I enclose the following (which may have been posted earlier - in which case apologies). Poor old Michael Dell didn't even make the Top 5..... :-) (Though a top 10 placing is still a great result !)
p.s. this is written on my new Gateway - Dell UK (Ireland to be exact) had a similar deal, but their sales people sounded so stressed out that it turned me right off.
p.p.s. Dell is a great company, and I will probably forever be one of those standing on the sidelines saying "there's absolutely no way this stock can go higher......" Sigh, I think they're going to prove me wrong for yet another quarter.
Good luck !
Mark

CMP's Computer Reseller News Names Sun's Scott McNealy the Computer Industry's Top Executive
Publication's Annual List Names Industry's Top 25 Most Influential Executives
MANHASSET, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1997--CMP's Computer Reseller News will name Sun Microsystems Chief Executive Officer Scott McNealy the most influential computer industry executive in its 15th annual Top 25 Executives issue to be published Nov. 17.
McNealy's high-stakes challenge to the industry's established power structure through his evangelizing for the Java programming language and his desire to ''brew an industry rebellion'' (as the newspaper notes on its cover) brought excitement to Silicon Valley and beyond this year and propelled McNealy to the top rank of influential executives.
''Scott McNealy is on a mission,'' said Robert Faletra, Vice President/Editorial Director, CMP's Computer Reseller News. ''The pugnacious, in-your-face leader of Sun Microsystems is out to change the world -- or at least the computer world as we know it. His presence has changed the industry more than any other figure this year, so much so that he easily earns the top spot on our publication's annual list of Top 25 Executives in the industry.''
Also high on the list: McNealy's chief nemesis, Bill Gates, the legendary Microsoft Corp. Chairman. Gates has come a long way with a strong will, a diverse product line and a huge customer base, according to the industry newspaper.
