I've followed NN for quite a period of time. Heck, I had a ton of it when it was $24.00 U.S. pre split (broke even) but in this downdraft there appears to be a breakdown in the fundamentals - downward revisions in earnings for Fiscal 98 and into 99 as well does not bode well for the stock (just look at Asnd and Coms). In an interview with David House, Bay Networks (Financial Post Nov.13/97) he stated that NN will not be able to make inroads into North America's corporate networking market and that it will be difficult for them to compete with such heavyweights as Bay and Csco. In my opinion their very purchase of UB was an attempt to gain entrance to this market, however UB as a viable acquisition in penetrating the corporate networking market appears to be dubious at best. John Armstrong, principal networking analyst with Dataquest states "UB was dead on arrival when it got to NN - to count on the company to revive was naive". Don't get me wrong this is one great company but for the short term, let the buyer beware.

Yes, to be All American Company, NN has to be in US - AND IT IS!

The Corporate headquaters would not move from Kanata for many reasons.
